#1 Ciro Immobile (Lazio)

Ciro Immobile lay forgotten amidst a miserable spell at Borussia Dortmund a few years ago. The moment he joined Lazio, his fortunes upturned and he is probably the most lethal attacker in the Serie A right now.

Karim Benzema started the season on a fine note, but has lost his good form and is being tipped for an exit. Signing Ciro Immobile could work well for Florentino Perez and Julen Lopetegui in that case.

The 2017/18 Capocannoniere winner is well-versed in wreaking havoc in defences. He takes an average 3.3 shots per game and is equally lethal a finisher in the air.

More from Real Madrid

Immobile is also well-adept at holding the ball and bringing midfielders into play. He is also a threat to reckon from distance as he takes accurate good long shots at the goal. In addition to this, he is also known to press the opposition incessantly when not in possession.

Ciro Immobile has been a consistent player for the past two seasons. Since joining Lazio, he has scored a jaw-dropping 73 goals in 98 games as of now. And, let’s not forget that he has achieved this with a team with no world-class midfielders to watch his back and feed him balls to score goals.

Perez and Lopetegui shouldn’t really doubt the Italian’s potential to replicate his feats at Real Madrid, where he’ll probably be more dangerous than usual, knowing that he will play with world-class players. Should they succeed in signing him, the 28-year-old would be a massive upgrade for Real Madrid’s misfiring forward line.
