PSG eye Atletico Madrid superstar to replace Neymar
Following his record-breaking transfer to PSG from Barcelona in 2017, Neymar is already looking for a way out of the French capital. And according to Sport, the Ligue 1 champions want to replace him with Antoine Griezmann.
A report by Cadena SER recently claimed that Brazilian superstar Neymar had reached an agreement with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to leave PSG next summer for €220 million, which is the exact same fee they paid Barcelona to sign him.
Neymar left the Catalan giants to become PSG’s marquee player, but he now feels that he’s being overshadowed by fellow mega-signing Kylian Mbappe.
His potential destination remains unknown, although it is believed that Real Madrid are the front-runners to capture his signature, with a return to Barcelona also on the cards.

The Parisians will need another big name to replace the void left by Neymar if he leaves, and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has emerged as their main target.
Griezmann has now been plying his trade for Atletico since 2014, when he joined them for €30 million from fellow La Liga side Real Sociedad.
He’s developed into one of the finest attackers in world football at the Spanish capital, scoring 116 goals in 220 appearances.
He guided Atletico to the Europa League title last season, and was also voted as the Player of the Tournament.
This summer, he was integral part of the French squad that reclaimed the World Cup in Russia after 20 years. He scored 4 goals, and was voted Man of the Match in the 4-2 win over Croatia in the final.
PSG will probably have to shell out €150 million, Griezmann’s release clause, to tempt Atletico into selling him. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Manchester United several times in the recent past, and the fact that Atletico hung on to him suggests that they will be difficult to negotiate with.
Thomas Tuchel, however, will move for Griezmann only if Neymar’s transfer materializes, which means any possible move will hinge on the Brazilian’s future.
