Midfielder- Sergi Roberto- 6/10

Sergi Roberto marked his return from injury by appearing as a substitute for Arthur. The Spain international looked a little off colour in spite of playing in an advanced role. That could probably have been because of the injury or because of his positioning on the left midfield’s role which is tough to adapt in spite of his versatility.

More from FC Barcelona

Forward- Munir El Haddadi- Not Available

Munir El Haddadi was given a run onto the pitch when Luis Suarez was withdrawn. The striker had very less time to make an impact and hence it would not be correct to rate him on any parameter. With only one goal and very few minutes to his name, it would be nice to see him feature more often for the Catalans.

Forward- Ousmane Dembele- 5.5/10

Ousmane Dembele did not start the match but got playing time of well over an hour after replacing Lionel Messi. The France international looked haywire on the right hand side and was unable to deal with the pressure from Sevilla’s Sergi Gomez. Ernesto Valverde will be expecting a lot more from him in this coming week.

Manager- Ernesto Valverde- 7/10

The Barcelona manager got all of his on-field tactics right but still could not manage his players correctly. It was a poor decision to bring on Sergi Roberto on the left hand side of the pitch in spite of Arturo Vidal’s availability. Plus, players like Ivan Rakitic and Coutinho should be handed periods of rest before their fatigue starts to charge an expensive toll.
