Here’s a look at how every Real Madrid player performed in the team’s 2-1 loss to Levante on Saturday afternoon in La Liga Santander.

Real Madrid were humbled and bruised by Levante, who beat them 2-1 courtesy of Jose Luis Morales and Roger scoring in less than fifteen minutes from kick-off. Marcelo scored late on through a powerful finish into the roof of the net, but that did not prove to be fruitful as the Whites dropped all three points for a second league game running.

It is clear that Julen Lopetegui is not being able to get the best out of his players and that has been made visible by dismal performances by every passing week. It was nothing different against Levante despite Madrid deserving a win by a country mile over their Saturday opponents.

Here’s a look at how every individual performed in the game.

Goalkeeper- Thibaut Courtois- 4/10

Thibaut Courtois had to make literally two saves through the entire afternoon but failed to do that as well. The former Chelsea goalkeeper was rounded about by Morales for Levante’s opener, an instance where he should have done much better by attempting to get the ball after a mix-up with Raphael Varane.

For the second goal, which was a penalty by Roger, Courtois guessed the right way but it was a very tame attempt. Had the Belgium international stretched a little more, he could have been able to stop that as well. Aside of that, it was a pretty quiet afternoon that had two or three shots straight at him.
