Left Winger- Marco Asensio- 4.5/10

It was an absolutely confounding display from the 22-year-old originating from Palma de Mallorca. Marco Asensio looked a little selfish and tried going for goals more often than he usually does against Real Madrid’s opponents of Saturday. He was widely tipped to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s successor but has not lived up to the expectations shouldered on him. In fact, Asensio has been more inconsistent than ever this season and scored only one goal so far which came a month ago against Espanyol.

Striker- Mariano Diaz- 7/10

Mariano Diaz started his first match since re-joining Real Madrid this summer from Olympique Lyonnaise. The Dominican striker was not the tallest one on the pitch by any means but won a lot of headers from crosses which flew in from the wings. But he lacked the quality to put them into the back of the net though and let them fly high up. Mariano played the entire game and looked to have equalized for Madrid after nearly eighty minutes, but had the goal disallowed for offside.

Right Winger- Lucas Vazquez- 6/10

Lucas Vazquez was employed as a right winger in the first half but put in an impeded role in the second half at right back. The 27-year-old danced past a few defenders with great confidence and displayed his attacking eye by being forward on most occasions even in the later parts of proceedings. His crosses were great but could not be converted. Vazquez could have scored a goal in the first half but was fantastically denied by Levante’s in-form keeper Oier.
