Let us take a look at Barcelona’s player ratings after their 2-0 win over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League’s match day 3.

Barcelona beat Inter Milan 2-0 on Wednesday evening. Rafinha and Jordi Alba were the two unlikely scorers for the Catalans who won their third successive match. The victory would have been a little sweeter for Barcelona who silenced questions of their reliance on Lionel Messi with a dominant display.

They now have nine points out of nine in group B and lead the standings. Barcelona’s goal difference of +8 has helped them put one foot into the knockout stages and that would be a huge relief for Ernesto Valverde who had his job under scrutiny after some dismal La Liga results.

However, before the Blaugrana turn their attentions to the match against Real Madrid, let’s discuss how every player performed against Inter.

Goalkeeper- Marc Andre Ter Stegen- 7/10

Marc Andre Ter Stegen kept his first clean sheet in over a month when Barcelona player Inter Milan. It was something long due but the Germany international did not have to slog for it, and in fact had a better performance against Sevilla over the weekend despite conceding twice against them.

Ter Stegen had a very comfortable night and was not called into intensive action throughout the entire match. With 4 saves and just 1 punch on the night, the justification is there for itself to speak about the former Borussia Monchengladbach goalie’s lack of involvement in the game. But irrespective of that, it was a clean sheet for the 26-year-old and a morale boost ahead of El Clasico.
