Defender- Nelson Semedo- 6/10

Nelson Semedo was given 18 minutes on the pitch after coming in for Rafinha. It was not a like for like change, but Roberto pushing to the right wing meant that Semedo could occupy his preferred spot of a right back. The Portuguese was brought on when the score was 1-0 to Barcelona and he helped well defensively and hesitated going forward keeping in mind Barcelona’s slender lead.

Midfielder- Arturo Vidal- 5.5/10

After weeks of being left on the bench and ranting about the lack of playing time, Arturo Vidal was given about fifteen minutes of playing time. The former Bayern Munich midfielder didn’t really do much in the quarter of an hour that he featured for except playing around a few very easy passes. As a result, a 5.5 is more than enough for him. He certainly would be regretting making a move to Barcelona this summer but can’t help it now.

Forward- Munir El Haddadi- Not Available

The young forward entered the fray for just about the final five minutes of the match in what was yet another cameo for him. To be honest, Munir did not even really get enough of the ball to play with and was just present on the pitch for name sake. Hence, it would not be feasible to rate him highly or lowly because his performance doesn’t really validate for that in just five minutes.

Manager- Ernesto Valverde- 7/10

Valverde started out a pretty much expected eleven, but raised a few eyebrows with the inclusion of Rafinha in place of Ousmane Dembele. While the 25 year old’s inclusion did pay off, it remains to be seen whether Dembele was rested just for the match or whether Rafinha is really in the tactics for the Clasico too.
