LW: Cristiano Ronaldo 9/10

I’m not really sure what to say here other than to ask if you saw the second goal he scored today. It was an absolute world class finish and saved Juventus from dropping more points that they shouldn’t have (and saved Allegri from another 0 in my ratings). The rest of the match he really wasn’t all that great, but I can absolutely look past it after that goal. He scored a brace in the match and was mostly responsible for keeping Juve at least 4 points ahead of the rest of the table.  It was also the 7th consecutive match where Ronaldo has registered either a goal or an assist. Ronaldo is on fire right now and it’s a big part of the reason Juve sits in 1st place right now.

ST: Paulo Dybala 6.5/10

Another match, another poor performance from an out of position Dybala. To be fair, nobody in the attack played particularly well in the first half, but Dybala really didn’t offer anything. In fact, if it weren’t for him drawing a controversial penalty then he wouldn’t have really contributed much of anything in this match. He didn’t even register a shot on target as Juve’s lone striker. Hopefully, this is the last time we see him spearhead a 4-3-3 because it really just isn’t a role where he has much to offer.

RW: Federico Bernardeschi 6/10

This one hurts. I have been begging for Bernardeschi to get a start for weeks and I could not have been more disappointed in his performance once he got it. He was practically invisible for most of the match and by the time he was subbed off I was pretty glad to see Juan Cuadrado coming on. I’m hoping that this match was just an anomaly caused by the lack of a real target for him to send crosses into, but this certainly wasn’t a performance that will earn him another start anytime soon. He wasn’t getting starts when he played well, so this match may have undone all of the good work he did early in the season.
