Arsenal travelled to Selhurst Park looking to make it 12 consecutive wins, but instead, they had to settle for a draw, as Crystal Palace scored in the last 10 minutes.
Unai Emery’s men proved that they are not perfect, despite what the 11 previous games may have suggested. While Arsenal is still unbeaten, their fans will inevitably be upset as they had the opportunity to build up even more momentum for the Liverpool game next weekend.
It started off as a classic tale. Arsenal allowed Crystal Palace to dominate the first half, but it wasn’t until a penalty that they opened the scoring before the half. Then, they came out rampant, scoring two goals in quick succession. Granit Xhaka scored a sumptuous free kick, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead from a tight angle.

However, it was Arsenal’s first goal scorer who gave away the second penalty of the game. Many are arguing that Wilfried Zaha went down too theatrically, but Martin Atkinson pointed to the spot anyway.
All in all, it doesn’t mean much for Arsenal heading forward. They had to drop points at some point, and I’m sure they would rather do that against Palace than against Liverpool. Obviously, the draw is going to feel like a loss right now, but it’s important not to overreact.

It was a ridiculous challenge from Shkodran Mustafi which gifted Crystal Palace their first penalty.
Arsenal lead. Lacazette having a hand in Aubameyang’s goal.

Any chance Lineker gets to share a pun, he takes.
If Wilf Zaha is going to leap over the defenders leg then it's about time he stops whinging about more protection from the officials. Better diving than an Olympic Pool.

I mean, they have got a point. But unfortunately, so too have Arsenal.
I think we can conclude, Pochettino was right when he said football is about trickery, as much as that pains me to say.
