Arsenal midfielder is losing Premier League interest, but it’s a good thing
By Kian Long
Arsenal fans will feel relieved to hear that actually, Premier League clubs aren’t as interested in Aaron Ramsey as the media makes out.
Aaron Ramsey is almost definitely leaving Arsenal this season. It has recently been reported that he would leave the club for free. While this isn’t ideal, the best possible option for Arsenal fans if he moves abroad. The last thing they would want to see is him flourishing elsewhere in the league.
The clubs which have been linked with him are mainly Premier League-orientated. However, it would appear that both Chelsea and Liverpool are out of the equation now, according to multiple reports. The Daily Star are reporting that Chelsea will not pursue a move for the Welshman given their wealth of options, whereas Sky Sports have dismissed Liverpool.

In case you didn’t know, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been in fine form lately. Having scored a hat-trick in the Europa League, he went on to score another in the Premier League lately. It’s just one of the many signs that he is flourishing under Maurizio Sarri. That said, you can understand why Chelsea don’t want to overhaul their midfield.
Liverpool, on the other hand, signed both Naby Keita and Fabinho in the summer, so they are by no means short of midfield options. It’s important we don’t forget about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain either, who will be determined to achieve after he returns from injury.
Aaron Ramsey has spoken about playing in Spain before. This is a wise choice, given all the stardom Real Madrid has given his countryman Gareth Bale. Aaron Ramsey will achieve no matter where he goes, as his style of play is hard to match. The most important thing from Arsenal’s perspective is that Ramsey doesn’t go out to strengthen a league rival.
I would love to hear your thoughts: Where do you think Aaron Ramsey will be playing next season, and how do you think his time there will go?
