Predicting the amount of points Barcelona will get in November
Barcelona head into the month of November with high hopes of keeping their tight grip on La Liga’s and Champions League’s top spots.
Barcelona play to strengthen their grip on the La Liga Santander’s top spot in the month of November. The first outing in a relatively peaceful month is in Madrid versus Rayo Vallecano. Barcelona then hosts Real Betis at the Camp Nou before heading to Wanda Metropolitano for the game against Atletico Madrid. The end of the month is certain to be demanding of them. Ernesto Valverde’s men will need to be on top gear to win all their fixtures, but let’s see how things may shape out in every match.
Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona- 3 points
Fresh from their thumping of Real Madrid, Barcelona head to Estadio Vallecas on the back of 11 successive wins against Rayo Vallecano. The Catalans will win this match as if it’s a walk in the park. Rayo are currently 19th in the league standings and should be no match for Barcelona. Leo Messi is back in training but might not play in this match. However, Luis Suarez is there to take responsibility and the Catalans should win by a 3 or 4 goal cushion.
Barcelona vs Real Betis- 3 points
Another game that is in all likeliness going to be a thumping on Barcelona’s part, the Catalans having scored 12 goals in their last two outings against Real Betis in the Camp Nou will be expected to do so in this game as well. Lionel Messi should be off and running by their twelfth La Liga fixture which should see Barcelona comfortably keep all three points in the Camp Nou itself.
Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona- 1 point
Atletico Madrid are flying high after a turbulent start to their La Liga campaign and on the backing of their fans, they should be able to hold Barcelona to a draw in the Wanda. Diego Simeone has never beaten Barcelona in La Liga matches and this time out, it seems like a slightly big demand as well. El Cholo will be happy with all 3 points for sure, but the spoils should get shared out here.

Apart from domestic commitments in La Liga Santander, Barcelona also have to compete in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League. With three wins in as many matches in the European competition, the Catalans are just one win away from sealing top spot and knockout qualification. Here’s how things are likely to go for them on the two European nights ahead of them this month.
Inter Milan vs Barcelona- 3 points
Barcelona’s first Champions League outing is an away trip to Inter Milan. The Blaugrana beat the Nerrazzuri 2-0 in the Camp Nou fixture and should get a similar result this time around as well. Inter will be stronger at home than they were in Barcelona, but with Leo Messi present on the pitch, Barca should get the work done.
PSV Eindhoven vs Barcelona- 3 points
Barcelona are expected to cruise to 3 points against PSV Eindhoven as well to all but dump them out of the European competitions. In the reverse fixture, Lionel Messi struck a hat—trick and Ousmane Dembele also scored once in a 4-0 riot. A similar win should not come as any surprise during the second game as well.
