Juventus projected lineup vs Cagliari: Ronaldo takes hot streak back to Turin
By John Vaccaro
LW: Cristiano Ronaldo
There is absolutely no surprise here. Cristiano Ronaldo has been absolutely on fire lately and constantly provides Juventus with a constant attacking threat. His second goal against Empoli was nothing short of incredible and gave him a seventh consecutive league match either scoring or assisting a goal. He has now tallied 7 goals and 4 assists in his first 10 Serie A appearances and will once again be Juve’s best chance to score. If Juve wins against Cagliari it will most likely be because of Ronaldo.
ST: Paulo Dybala

This is a mistake that I see Allegri making once again as Mario Mandzukic works his way back from an injury. Dybala hasn’t been particularly effective as a lone striker in the 4-3-3, seemingly disappearing for long stretches of the last two matches. Dybala would offer much more in a strike partnership with Ronaldo, but Allegri doesn’t seem to like that idea. Hopefully Dybala can offer more in this match than he did in this role against Empoli.
RW: Juan Cuadrado
Juan Cuadrado has played well enough in his last two starts to earn this starting opportunity against Cagliari. He is also Juve’s only choice with Bernardeschi out and Costa unavailable to start. He has looked formidable in his recent opportunities, giving Juventus yet another dangerous option on the right wing. If he can put in another impressive performance then Allegri will have a very tough choice to make for Wednesday’s match against United.
It’s a pretty great situation to be in when you can lose 2 of your options on the wing and still have Cuadrado available to fill the role.
