2. Bayern Munich – Manager

Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac has had a very lacklustre start to the season. Bayern Munich has lost 2 out of their 9 games and sit two points below rivals Borussia Dortmund. Bayern are used to cruising in the Bundesliga but this season seems to be different.

Kovac, who took the reigns at Bayern just this summer hasn’t been up to the mark when it comes to the German sides standards. Despite there being no indication of the ex-Frankfurt coach’s position at Bayern being under threat, there have been signs that Kovac has been ineffective to an extent when it comes to motivating an ageing squad.

Wenger brings in just this. He can motivate his players and always plays with an attacking football style. Bayern has been known to play smooth football with class and Arsene Wenger embodies class himself. Another aspect where the French Tactician would be really drool-worthy for Bayern is his ability to nurture talent.

Over the years, Wenger has made Superstars during his time in Arsenal like Henry, Ramsey, Fabregas and so on. Similarly, even Bayern Munich don’t really go behind big-name players but instead focus more on signing young but talented players and developing them. This aspect is where Wenger and Bayern complement each other.

Rarely aggressive and always looking for ways to make football even more beautiful than it already is, Wenger is a connoisseur of the game and is a personification of the German club in itself. This makes Arsene Wenger & Bayern Munich seem like a match made in heaven.
