RB: Hector Bellerin (6.5/10)

There was a chance for the Spaniard to win the game late on, however, he failed to convert from the edge of the box. Overall though, he played well. His attacking input was put to test from Andre Robertson, but in the end, the two of them gave each other a run for their money.

Bellerin entered this game with injury doubt, as he was patched up. However, you wouldn’t have thought it, because he played like he usually would. The healthy eating is paying off!

CB: Shkodran Mustafi (7/10)

I am Mustafi’s biggest critic when he has a bad game. However, there aren’t many ways I could fault him from last night’s match. The Germany international was sublime, and he made Roberto Firmino look non-existent.

CB: Rob Holding (7/10)

Again, Holding accompanied his German partner well. He looked to pick up on any scraps and ensured the game remained low-scoring. It was a sign of how mature he has become under Unai Emery, because under Arsene Wenger, starting Holding may have had detrimental impacts.

LB: Sead Kolasinac (7.5/10)

Kolasinac was one of the better players on the pitch. He came in from an injury, taking Granit Xhaka’s place at left-back. However, you wouldn’t have expected him to have had such a long time away from the first team judging by his performance.

He was the clear winner of the left flank, as he looked to assert his attacking dominance whenever possible. He deserved a goal or an assist from this game, but instead, he can go home with his head held high.
