As always, the action between Arsenal and Liverpool only continued over on Twitter…
Arsenal hosted Liverpool in the Premier League last night. Whenever these two heavyweights clash, you expect plenty of drama, and last night didn’t disappoint. James Milner opened the scoring for his side, but towards the end of the match, Alexandre Lacazette’s goal counteracted it.
There was plenty of controversial decisions and antics throughout. Many felt that Fabinho was pushing his luck with Andre Marriner, as the Brazilian produced a large number of fouls. Many took the stance that Arsenal was let off, as Sadio Mane’s goal was wrongfully called for offside. And those are to name just a few…

Unfortunately for the neutral, Mohamed Salah and Mesut Ozil had relatively quiet games. Well, they were two of the best players on the pitch, but by their heavy standards, it was an average performance by both of them.
Still, the match produced plenty of action. Lacazette’s goal was sumptuous, as it combined both composure and finesse. Milner’s goal, on the other hand, showed his immense experience, as he managed to keep the ball down from a Bernd Leno mistake.
Anyway, amidst all of the high-octane action, there was only one place to be. If you couldn’t relish the experience at the Emirates Stadium, then the next best place to be was Twitter. Before you even opened the app, you could tell that the two sets of fans would be bickering, while the neutral would also be popping up. All in the name of the beautiful game…
That Lacazette goal, Lukaku would have turned and turned and turned.. Like a Yoruba woman preparing Amala

🙄🙄🙄
Just imagine what Lukaku would have done if he found himself in Lacazette’s position.
• Decent point after a poor performance.

• A LOT needs to improve.
• Milner is a hero.
• Salah needs a “rest”, in my opinion.
• TAA needs to fix up, ASAP.
• STILL unbeaten in the league.
• Top of the league.
Have a good weekend.
There are plenty of positives for both sides to take from this match.
Iwobi is better than martial..... Haters gonna say #overated

Iwobi is now being recognised with some of the best youngsters in the game.
“Where are we going to get a goal from?”

Milner: Hold my Ribena.
Seriously, Ribena, get Milner a sponsorship deal.
Shoutout to Merson who claimed that we’d be battered when we come up against a top offensive side. Today we faced one of the best attacking teams in Europe with Hector/Sead not fully fit while Nacho/Sokratis weren’t able to play, & all the defensive players did themselves proud.

Paul Merson was proven wrong, again.
What did you make of this matchup?
