Barcelona came from 2-1 behind to get a 3-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday evening at the Estadio Vallecas in the La Liga Santander.

Barcelona got the better of Rayo Vallecano on Saturday night by a 3-2 margin at the Estadio Vallecas. There was nothing short of inveigling in this encounter as the Catalans were made to slog their way to all 3 points and it was anything but a stroll in the park for Ernesto Valverde’s men.

Luis Suarez opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half but Jose Angel Pozo equalized for the hosts sometime before the break. Alvaro Garcia Rivera struck for the home team yet again to give them a lead. Rayo continued to dominate the game and overwork Barcelona, but the Blaugrana went home with a win which was undeserved.

Ousmane Dembele equalized on the 87th minute and Luis Suarez scored the winning goal on the cusp of the 90th-minute mark. Let’s take a look at how every Barcelona player did in the win.

Goalkeeper- Marc Andre Ter Stegen- 7/10

Marc Andre Ter Stegen conceded two goals but put in a really good display in Madrid. The 26-year-old made two saves that were otherwise obvious goals and also baulked some of the hosts’ crosses by either catching or punching them. Ter Stegen is as important to Barcelona at the back as Messi is in the attack. After a string of great performances, he is certain to be called up for international duty by Joachim Low but his main goal would be to dethrone Manuel Neuer off the first choice goalie’s spot.
