Barcelona players rated from the Rayo victory: Suarez brace ensures 3 points
Midfielder- Arturo Vidal- 6/10
Arturo Vidal played just under 30 minutes of the Rayo outing. The former Chile international was brought in to help Barcelona get a better sniff of their opponent’s goal and Vidal helped in doing that. Arturo has been looking good over the last few matches and if he can win over Ernesto Valverde, then he can push for a regular starter’s berth.

Forward- Ousmane Dembele- 6.5/10
With poor performances like the one against Rayo, Ousmane Dembele has been justifying Ernesto Valverde’s decision of leaving him out on the bench. After some horrid first touches and passes, the Frenchman did manage to grab the equalizer- the main duty he was vested with before being introduced into the game.
Forward- Munir El Haddadi- Not Available
Munir El Haddadi was brought on very late in the centre of things. The striker did not really do much in the little amount of time that he had whilst on the field. Munir should get a few more chances to show how good he really is.
Manager- Ernesto Valverde- 5/10
Barcelona nearly dropped points because of Ernesto Valvede’s horrible man management. It has been highlighted on several occasions that the former Athletic Bilbao coach is horrible with the outlook of his players’ fitness. Barcelona’s midfielders were visibly tired after being overused in the last couple of weeks. In spite of having the resources, the Barcelona boss is not making good use of them and could end up paying for the player’s injuries in the business end of the season.
