PSG’s predicted line up against SSC Napoli in the UCL.

Left Midfielder – Julian Draxler

Julian Draxler has been the man on fire for PSG lately. Bagging a 95% pass accuracy against Marseille & Lille, Draxler has been PSG’s most consistent player over the past month. Draxler is most likely going to start on the left half of the midfield and Tuchel would be inclined towards trusting his compatriots technical abilities and skill. Julian Draxler has returned to his old form and would be willing to contribute against Napoli too. Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot would be benched again given the commotion surrounding his rejection of a number of contract renewals from the club and also for disciplinary issues, notably being late for a team meeting by 20 minutes before Le Classique.

Central Midfielder – Marco Verratti

The one player without whom PSG suffers is Marco Verratti. The little Italian, however, has been having a bad week. He was arrested for drunk driving last Tuesday and was also fined by the club. Marco apologized publicly and expressed deep regret over his actions. Despite this incident he started PSG’s Ligue 1 game against Lille which they won 2-1. Verratti was key in midfield and he is extremely crucial to PSG, like always. PSG’s German tactician knows Verratti’s importance to his plans with the club and he would guarantee the midfield maestro a starting spot against Napoli.

Right Midfielder – Angel Di Maria

Angel Di Maria is one of the most technically gifted players in the world. With all that newfound confidence and trust from the manager, Di Maria is reaching new heights with PSG. He was the one who saved PSG with a last-minute beauty against Napoli at the Parc de Princes to earn a point from that fixture. Having extended his contract with The French Champions till 2021, Angel Di Maria is expected to start the game against Napoli at the San Paolo. Tuchel trusts the Argentinian and would be hoping that he delivers another exceptional performance in this crucial match.
