When it comes to producing youngsters, Chelsea is probably the last club you would associate with this trait. However, they have found their ideal starlet in Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and his form is delighting Maurizio Sarri even more.
According to reports from The Mirror, the Italian boss has blocked any form of January move for the 22-year-old, as he hopes to build a bright future for him. You could see this as either good or bad news, but Chelsea fans will definitely opt for the former.

In case you didn’t know, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been a breakout player this season. Having featured in six Chelsea matches across all competitions, the Englishman has scored four goals. He also had an impressive World Cup campaign with England, in which they finished fourth in the competition.
His standout performance was undeniably in the Europa League against BATE Borisov, in which he scored all three of Chelsea’s goals. He proved this wasn’t a fluke by scoring in the next Premier League match against Burnley.
He’s definitely a late-bloomer, but he is showing all the signs of a mature player. Besides, Sarri is known for working with players of all ages. All of this combined paves the perfect trajectory for the midfielder’s career.
Should he stay or should he go remains a question in his mind. He has been given good treatment from the blues in recent weeks, but we all know about Chelsea’s history with young prodigies. Only Ruben knows what’s best for his future, so don’t be surprised to see his reaction in the near future.
