Left Winger- Philippe Coutinho- 9/10

Philippe Coutinho was the man of the match on his homecoming to the San Siro. The former Liverpool forward did not have his best years in Milan and antagonized the team with a superb display on his return there. Coutinho kept making breath-taking runs from the midfield and wings while his cutting inside was a great sight as well. The Brazil international played a big role when Barcelona scored through Malcom as well. His effort on the ball initiated a move finished off by the 21 year old.

Striker- Luis Suarez- 7.5/10

Luis Suarez’s goal drought on the UEFA Champions League’s away days continued after he blanked for 90 more minutes in the Inter Milan match. Nonetheless, the Uruguay international put in a very good display that only lacked a goal. As he did in the Camp Nou fixture, Suarez gave Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij some nightmarish moments but had a few shots slapped off against Samir Handanovic’s palms. Suarez will look to continue his fiery league form in Barcelona’s game against Real Betis on Sunday.

Right Winger- Ousmane Dembele- 6/10

Ousmane Dembele put in yet another sub par display despite being given a lot of time to settle into the match. The France international was the architect of his own impeded movement on the right hand side of Barcelona’s attack. Dembele stayed in a very compact position rather than try to tract the Inter Milan defence, thereby putting his play time for the future in jeopardy. The winger certainly needs to improve and he can do so by seeking a loan move in the winter or next summer.
