It was a night of relief for Real Madrid. Karim Benzema finally hitting the 200 goal mark, Los Blancos getting a comfortable win, and many more topics were discussed on Twitter.
Karim Benzema scored his 200th Real Madrid goal last night, which is an incredible achievement. What a way to get it, too. The goal involved immense skill, as he took three opposing defenders out of the equation before slotting it through the keeper’s legs. It was the most monumental goal of his career, and perhaps even one of his best.
Overall though, Real Madrid can be happy as a collective. To score five goals in the Champions League is always a great feat, but even more so when you consider their recent form. Santiago Solari has already done more than Julen Lopetegui could have dreamed of.
