Eden Hazard is always a hot topic of discussion for Chelsea fans. He seems to be a happy bunny, but he does have one reason to be angry…

Eden Hazard has plenty of reasons to smile this season. As Maurizio Sarri has come in, Hazard has really reaped the rewards of working under such a respected manager. The Italian boss has managed to rejuvenate a number of his stars, but none more so than Hazard.

He has been the best player in the Premier League by a long-shot this season. He’s been scoring the goals and racking up assists for fun to kick off the campaign. That said, there’s no reason why the aura surrounding his situation is a positive one currently.

In case you didn’t know, fans are consistently worried about Hazard’s situation. There doesn’t seem to be a day which goes by in which he isn’t linked with a move away. He is a professional though, and given the fact he loves the London lifestyle, fans shouldn’t be worried.

However, there is one thing about playing with Chelsea which angers the Belgian. Here’s what he had to say, according to the Telegraph:

"“I am feeling the wear and tear. I have been playing football as a professional for more than ten years now.I am not happy about it (being a target), but it’s part of football.” – Eden Hazard"

As you can see, Hazard answers the question in a respectable manner. He is by no means old, so I think he’s doing himself an injustice in that sense. He’s entering the prime stages of his career, so it’s good to see that he’s taking care of his health, and I’m sure Chelsea will reap the benefits.

Hazard is a target for opposing defenders, it doesn’t take a genius to notice that. It’s clear that the opposition’s manager will take precautions to deal with Hazard, as opposed to dealing with Chelsea. He’s said before that he takes this as a compliment, and rightly so.

Hazard’s trickery on the ball is hard to deal with, so as a manager you would train your players to do whatever is necessary in order to win possession. Hazard wins a lot of fouls because of this, which isn’t ideal but still a bonus.

What do you make of Eden Hazard’s comments? Is he right to feel angry about the opposition?
