LW: Cristiano Ronaldo 8.5/10

The streak lives on. It took most of the match for Ronaldo to extend his streak to 9 consecutive Serie A matches with either a goal or an assist, but in the 81st minute, he was able to give Juve some breathing room when his rebound gave them a 2-0 lead.

Ronaldo’s performance in this match was pretty much what we’ve come to expect from him during his recent run. He put a few shots on target, made some nice passes, and eventually got himself on the score sheet. The goal was his 8th of the season and got him to within one of Serie A’s top scorer. This was another performance that showed Ronaldo was worth his enormous price tag.

ST: Mario Mandzukic 8/10

Juventus badly missed Mario Mandzukic while he was out with an ankle injury, but he made sure to make his presence felt in his return. He got the scoring started early for Juventus with his 8th-minute header and they never looked back.

In Mandzukic’s absence, Juventus has been missing an aerial threat in the middle, which has rendered many of their crosses useless. Hopefully, Mandzukic can stay healthy for the rest of the year because this match once again illustrated his importance to this Juve squad.

RW: Paulo Dybala 6.5/10

I once again am not sure what Dybala’s role was in this match. He didn’t put a shot on target, his passing didn’t create openings for his teammates, he didn’t even send in an accurate cross.

Again, I know that it isn’t his fault that his performances are disappointing when he plays on the wing, but when will Allegri start to consider that maybe Juve would be better off with him on the bench than on the right wing? In a match where Juve’s attack performed well as a whole, Dybala was the odd man out.
