Chelsea will suffer the wrath of Kevin De Bruyne in December
By Kian Long
Kevin De Bruyne will return to action sooner than expected. Unfortunately for Chelsea fans, he is expected to return right before Chelsea vs Manchester City.
Chelsea fans know all about Kevin De Bruyne. It could have been them who were blessed with his performances each week, but instead, Jose Mourinho failed him. He is just another case of the Mourinho curse, but most worryingly, he could return to his former club with a point to prove.
Currently nursing an injury, he is expected to make a return to action quicker than expected. He is set to return early December, and he’s expected to be fit for Chelsea away. Having impressed against his former club in the past, one could argue that there’s no better narrative for his return to action.

As a neutral fan, this is excellent news. It means you can witness the Belgian battle of Eden Hazard vs Kevin De Bruyne. I assume that will be a big tale heading into this match, assuming both of them will be fit to participate.
Manchester City has coped well without De Bruyne, so his return is by no means do or die. Players such as Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez have stepped up in his absence, and they will look to punish the London club should De Bruyne not be fit.
Depending on how the next few weeks pan out, this could be an important tie. Chelsea and City are both in and around the top spots, with City claiming the top spot as their own. Both clubs look solid this season, although you would always favour Chelsea at the bridge.

Maurizio Sarri will build his team in order to stop De Bruyne’s midfield balls. The Belgian will look to play balls through to the surging attackers. In fact, you could argue that Chelsea are in the know of how to deal with such a threat, as they do have Jorginho at their disposal.
Do you think Chelsea can see past the return of Kevin De Bruyne and snatch a win?
