Aaron Ramsey is bound to leave Arsenal. Should he move to Bayern Munich, which seems likely, then he could reunite with his former boss Arsene Wenger.

It was meant to be, wasn’t it? The love story of Aaron Ramsey and Arsene Wenger is one close to the hearts of Arsenal fans. However, the consensus seemed to be that it was time for Wenger to leave, allowing room for Unai Emery.

Aaron Ramsey hasn’t been a revelation under Emery, I think that’s fair to say. I mean, he’s been good when he’s come from the bench, but he’s nowhere near as good as he was last season.

The love story might not be over.

I must emphasise the ‘might.’ According to The Telegraph, Arsene Wenger could return to management very soon, with Bayern Munich eyeing him as a potential Niko Kovac successor. And as we know, they are also eyeing a move for Aaron Ramsey.

Bayern Munich is in terrible form this season, so you can understand their desire for change. They currently in fifth place of the Bundesliga, nine points behind the leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Wenger and Ramsey probably know Bayern Munich better than they know themselves, let’s be honest. The memes floating around about Bayern and Arsene were true because they seemed to draw each other every year in the Champions League.

It would be interesting to see Wenger at the helm of Bayern Munich.

Wenger has been out of work since leaving Arsenal, so it remains to be seen how he would react. There was a lot of criticism claiming that he failed to keep up with the times. As an Arsenal fan who was born into Wenger’s reign, I believe he’s learned from this criticism. He’s had the time to step away from football and reflect, so who’s to say he couldn’t come in with a fresh approach to the game?

He has a point to prove, that’s for sure. While his legacy with Arsenal could never be tarnished, many tend to forget about what he achieved. A successful stint at Bayern, or any club for that matter, would do him and his career the world of good.

He still has a European trophy to aim for, let’s not forget. While Bayern aren’t in a UCL qualifying position currently, who better to get them there than Arsene Wenger?
