Juventus will look to keep their Serie A hot streak alive against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Since disappointingly dropping their first points of the season against Genoa last month, Juve has won 4 matches in a row. This run has stretched their lead atop Serie A to 8 points over Napoli and 9 over Inter. Now they’ll take on Serie A’s youngest team in a battle between the dominant champion and the young up and comer.

Fiorentina got off to a good start, picking up 13 points in their first 7 matches, but they now haven’t won a match since September. They’ve drawn each of their last 5 matches, including a disappointing 1-1 finish against 19th place Fiorentina. They’ll be looking to turn their form around at home against he top team in the league.

For this encounter Juventus will be the healthiest they have been in over a month. Their recently found health should lead to them starting the match in the 4-3-3 formation that is usually their first choice. It should also lead to to Emre Can and Federico Bernardeschi making their first appearances since October and their starting midfield should all be available for this match.

They need a win to keep their momentum as they head into one of their toughest matches so far this season. Next Friday they will go head to head with Inter Milan in the Derby d’Italia. If there was any match in which Juve would drop points before the halfway point of the season it would be against Inter, so it is very important for Juve to keep their lead atop the league.
