It’s time to finally figure out what Leonardo Spinazzola has to offer for Juve. Alex Sandro had to leave at halftime of Juve’s match against Valencia on Wednesday and is now in doubt for the match against Fiorentina. That leaves Spinazzola as the only healthy left back on the roster. He has missed most of the season because of an injury, but now is as good a time as any to see if Juve can depend on him when Sandro is unavailable. With the rest of the regular starting lineup available he’ll have some cover if he runs into trouble. Let’s see what he’s got.

RB: Joao Cancelo

Joao Cancelo once again impressed against his former club on Tuesday, but this time he did it as both a right and left back. He’ll be tasked with slowing down another young player that has taken Serie A by storm. This certainly won’t be the last time Cancelo comes face to face with Federico Chiesa and it will be a matchup that plays a big part in the outcome of this match. There hasn’t been a left-wing that Cancelo has been unable to handle this season and he’ll be hoping to continue that run against Chiesa. Cancelo has continually made Juve look like geniuses for signing him this summer as he has solidified the position where they have had the most questions during their dominant run. Juve is hitting a tough stretch in the schedule and he will need to be at his best to keep them rolling.
