Juventus player ratings vs Fiorentina: Bentancur impresses again, Ronaldo streak continues
By John Vaccaro
Federico Bernardeschi 6/10
This was a pretty standard appearance for a Juve wing making a substitute appearance. By the time Bernardeschi came on, Juve was already well in control and wasn’t exactly pushing to score a 4th goal. It was good to see that he was healthy enough to play 14 minutes without incident. That’s really all there was to this appearance though.
Douglas Costa 6/10
I could probably just rewrite what I wrote about Bernardeschi without the part about health and with only 10 minutes played and it would apply to Costa’s appearance in the match. Juve was just nursing their lead when Costa came on and this was another in a line of short cameos where Costa wasn’t really needed. Hopefully we’ll get to see him back in the starting lineup soon because he deserves better than this.
Moise Kean: Inc.

We actually got to see Moise Kean on the field in this match, which has been a very rare occurrence this season. Unfortunately, that appearance only lasted for 5 minutes so there wasn’t much to be learned from his performance. Maybe sometime soon he’ll be given the chance to actually impact a match.
Manager: Massimiliano Allegri 10/10
This was one of the best matches of the year for Massimiliano Allegri. He finally managed to give Miralem Pjanic a day off when he badly needed one. He got Paulo Dybala into a position where he could be effective instead of wasting him on the right wing again. He kept Juve pursuing a bigger lead after they scored their first, something they haven’t done much this year and that has come back to haunt them in the past.
This was a great match for Allegri and now he has the team firing on all cylinders as they head into one of their biggest matches of the year against Inter on Friday.
