FW: Harry Kane – 8

Harry looked as fresh and hungry as ever last night. Fans had to wait less than ten minutes before he made Southampton’s net bulge. That’s now seven in seven against the Saints – one of many clubs he loves playing against.

He is so much more than just a goal getter and his all round play and endeavor is almost unparalleled. When he picked the ball up and spotted Son in the box in the 55th minute you knew it was a goal before it even left his foot.

Sub: Moussa Sissoko – 5.5

Unfortunately for Moussa, he came on after Spurs had already done the hard work and had consequently taken its foot right off the gas. The Frenchman ran around a lot – as you would expect.

Sub: Dele Alli – 5.5

Similar to Moussa, Dele entered the field when Spurs were under the cosh.

It seemed like a game Dele would have loved to play a bit more of and it’s probably lucky for Southampton’s goal difference that he didn’t. He has looked bright since returning from injury and should be back in the starting eleven for the weekend’s trip to Leicester.

Sub: Oliver Skipp – N/A

Skippy came on with five minutes to go for his Premier League debut. He didn’t have much time to affect the game but looked pro-active and unperturbed whenever in possession. Not bad work for a school night.

Next. Tottenham don't need Cengiz Under. dark

It’s nice to see Poch give youth a shot when the opportunity is there as so often he opts for more established stars instead.
