GK: Wojciech Szczesny

We all know who is going to start at keeper when Juve has big matches. Wojciech Szczesny has proven over and over this season that Juve can trust him in goal on the big stage. Most recently he showed it in a 5 save performance against Fiorentina. He’ll be facing one of Serie A’s best attacks in this one, but he has looked all season like he is up to the challenge.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci

I don’t think that Bonucci has done enough to regain Massimiliano Allegri’s trust to start this match, but if the rest of the season is any indication then he will be the starter against Inter. He has had defensive lapses at some really bad times this season and Medhi Benatia has outplayed him recently. However, he has a long history playing alongside Giorgio Chiellini and maybe their chemistry will be enough for him to avoid mistakes in this match. If it’s not then it might be time to seriously consider making Benatia a regular starter.

CB: Giorgio Chiellini

Juve’s captain will be called upon once again to slow down a world class striking talent. He has been as good as ever this season even at 34 years old. He has been a part of defenses that have already held Ciro Immobile, Gonzalo Higuain, and the red hot Krzysztof Piatek scoreless this season. Now he’ll be asked to stop Mauro Icardi, who has scored 8 times in his last 6 matches. It looks like his toughest challenge yet this season, but we can expect Chiellini to be ready for it.
