Eden Hazard has a new potential destination.

Eden Hazard is likely to spark a large number of transfer rumours throughout the remainder of the season. The Chelsea winger is one of the best players in the world and there’s never been a better time to sign him, so why not?

With Real Madrid and Juventus among other clubs considering signing him, they now have competition. It’s the competition nobody wants when it comes to transfer sagas. According to the Mirror, PSG has joined the race to sign Eden Hazard. Let’s get one thing straight…

This is Hazard’s least favourable destination

More from Chelsea FC

Hazard has already conquered Ligue 1 as a young player. It’s where he made a name for himself and it’s what made Chelsea wish to sign him. So, obviously, he holds this league close to his heart for sentimental reasons. That said, joining PSG isn’t what he would like to do.

That’s not my opinion either, it’s fact. He has already spoken about how he doesn’t wish to join PSG. Still, you can’t blame PSG for trying because at the end of the day, any player can be swayed. Football is very much a money game nowadays and PSG is at the top in that regard.

Playing in Ligue 1 could serve Hazard well, as it has done already. PSG have the league title wrapped up pretty much every season so their aim is to win the Champions League. This is something Hazard has no experience of, although he has won the Europa League with Chelsea.

Chelsea will continue to persuade him

There’s a lot of talk surrounding the likes of Real Madrid but the reality is, Chelsea are in the best position. He has ruled out a January move, meaning they have plenty of time to persuade Hazard to stay on board. After all, he does seem to love living in London.

A good league finish and a trophy or two would do Chelsea the world of good in their plea to keep him at London. It will show how much they’ve improved under Maurizio Sarri and it has the potential to sway Hazard in Chelsea’s direction.

It’s tough to call but I still think Hazard will join Real Madrid. They’ve been linked with him for a very long time now so it feels like only a matter of time before they get their man.
