Juventus kept rolling against Inter Milan on Friday and now they’ll look to lock down a 1st place finish in Champions League Group H when they travel to Switzerland for a match against Young Boys.

Juventus has gotten off to an incredible start this season. They currently hold a 2 point lead over Manchester United for 1st place in their group and an 8 point lead in Serie A. They have also gotten off to the best start  in one of the top 5 leagues through 15 matches in history with 14 wins and 1 draw. Their recent form has been equally impressive. In the last month they have dispatched Inter Milan, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Valencia, and SPAL all without surrendering a goal.

Young Boys hasn’t quite found the same level of success in the Champions League. They have only managed to secure 1 point in 5 matches (although it could’ve been 2 if a handball had been called on Marouane Fellaini) and have an abysmal -9 goal differential in those matches. However, they have been much more successful in their league. In the first 17 matches of their season they have earned 15 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. They currently hold a 19 point lead over the second best team in the Swiss Super League. Their recent league form has been equally impressive as they have won 6 consecutive matches in the Swiss league.

Juventus doesn’t have quite the same injury concerns for Wednesday that they did on Friday, but they will still be missing Sami Khedira and now it looks like Medhi Benatia will be missing this match because of inflammation in his knee. That still leaves Juve with the necessary personnel to utilize the 4-3-3 formation. It’s the formation they started this group stage with and the one they’ll end it in too.
