Eden Hazard has dropped a hint that is looking elsewhere from Chelsea.
When it comes to transfer rumours, not many have dragged on as much as Eden Hazard to Real Madrid has. That’s because Chelsea has been continuously offering the Belgian a new contract, however, nothing has materialised of the talks. Now, according to Express, Hazard’s contract talks with Chelsea have stopped.
"“I’ve always loved Real (Madrid), even before (Zinedine) Zidane. We’ll see what happens. There was a bit of talk (with Chelsea over a new contract) but then it stopped. Now we’re waiting.” Eden Hazard [via Express]"
Real Madrid will be licking their lips at the thought

Although Hazard didn’t say for definite whether or not he would leave Chelsea, it’s easy to assume so after these comments. Real Madrid is still in the hunt for a Cristiano Ronaldo so these comments will come as good news to them.
Los Blancos need to catch up to Barcelona before it’s too late and improving their attack would surely provide some leeway in that regard. Eden Hazard is 27 years old and he’s going to keep producing quality for a good few years, so Madrid will be sorted in that regard.
However, Madrid won’t be signing him in January. He reassured in this interview that he is not going to leave Chelsea midway through the season. Should Real Madrid sign a quality forward in January, then it would be easy to infer they’re no longer interested in Hazard, But until then, their interest in the Belgian is ever prominent.
Real Madrid is Hazard’s best option
Don’t get me wrong, Maurizio Sarri is doing a great job at Chelsea. But admit it, Real Madrid is the dream destination for any player. The Spanish capital is home to many legends, including some who are still playing the beautiful game to this day.
They got off to a poor start to the season but they’re picking up the pieces now. Hazard would arrive with a fresh approach and having spent a full season under Sarri, he will look to broaden his learning under whoever is the Real Madrid manager at the time.
Los Blancos are always determined to get their man by whatever means necessary. It’s been a struggle to do so for them with Premier League clubs of late, but Chelsea is always open to offers.
