Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 at the Camp Nou on Tuesday evening in their final clash of the Champions League’s group phase.

Barcelona played to a 1-1 stalemate at the Camp Nou with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening. Having already known his side’s fate of playing the last 16 and winning his group, Ernesto Valverde preferred to give several star names a rest and made six changes from Barcelona’s 4-0 win against Espanyol last weekend.

The Catalans put in a fairly good display without a lot of key players, Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets being the two most important absentees from the team sheet. Ousmane Dembele came up with a brush stroke of art yet again as he scored a magnificent solo goal in the first goal to open the evening’s account in favour of Barcelona.

Tottenham kept probing for a response and it finally came for them in the shape of Lucas Moura who scored with five minutes to go on the clock. In Italy, Inter Milan had drawn with PSV Eindhoven so a 1-1 result for Spurs was enough in seeing them through to the last 16 of the Champions League as runners-up of the group.

With that said, here’s a look at how every player from the home team did.

Goalkeeper- Jasper Cillessen- 8/10

Tottenham Hotspur would have surely won the game were it not for Jasper Cillessen’s goalkeeping skills. The Netherlands international made no less than six saves throughout the match and kept Harry Kane primarily at bay. This was Cillessen’s first Champions League appearance in two seasons and he made sure that it’s a memorable one.
