Midfielder- Sergio Busquets- 7/10

Dele Alli was not making much of an impact and was not even very much involved in the match and that was courtesy of Sergio Busquets who was constantly breathing down the England international’s neck for the match. Busquets was not much tested in the second half and could play a very relaxed and subtle match which he needed after some rash outings over the course of the last couple of weeks.

More from FC Barcelona

Midfielder- Denis Suarez- 7/10

Denis Suarez got 15 odd minutes under his belt in the Spurs game and he did a decent job in the central area of the park. He has been pretty inconsistent since a while, but if he can maintain the level of performance he showed in the Barcelona match as a bare minimum, then he may be in or some handsome number of minutes in the future.

Forward- Lionel Messi- 6/10

Lionel Messi came on as a substitute with a little over an hour having run in the game. The Argentinian was put on with the idea of sending the match beyond Spurs’ reach, but Messi failed to make an impact. His shots were not as per his standard and Danny Rose did a fairly good job dealing with the Barcelona winger’s constant speed and inevitable threat. Barcelona will have Messi fresh for the Levante visit now.

Manager- Ernesto Valverde- 8/10

Ernesto Valverde took a good call by resting a number of key players for the match given that Barcelona’s group stage objective was fulfilled well in advance. Maybe there was no need to bring Messi into the mix, but that does nothing to take away a good setup organized by the ex-Athletic Bilbao manager.
