Out of favour Barcelona attacker receives a big offer from China
By Kian Long
Malcom hasn’t been hitting it at Barcelona.
When Barcelona signed Malcom, there was plenty of excitement in the air. The youngster had impressed with Bourdeaux and had a number of big clubs interested in him because of this. However, in the end, Barcelona got their man. It’s not been easy sailing for him though, picking up just one start so far this season.
That said, it comes as no surprise to see him already being linked with a move away. He is one of the world’s most exciting prodigies, so to see him not picking up game time will excite other clubs. According to AS, Barcelona has received offers of £65m from the Chinese Super League.
It’s exciting but Malcom should avoid China

China has put a lot of emphasis on improving the football scene in their country and it’s starting to pay off. Axel Witsel recently played in China with Tianjun Quanjian, however, his time there was shortly abrupt. Malcom should take a lesson from this.
His future is exciting and he has what it takes to make it in Europe. It’s where the big clubs are situated, so Malcom should take the China interest with a pinch of salt. Who knows, maybe a bit European suitor could be in for Malcom this January.
Ousmane Dembele moving away would benefit him
Although stories have simmered down in recent week, a transfer for Ousmane Dembele is still in the pipeline. The Barcelona forward is in good form this season, however, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in acquiring his signature.
Lionel Messi has heaped huge praise on Dembele, saying that Barcelona ‘need’ him. That said, it may sway Barcelona towards keeping him. However, if the dynamic forward does get transferred out, then Malcom would definitely benefit. It would lead to an increase in his game time since Dembele is clearly above him at the moment.
Malcom adds a more clinical edge to the Barcelona attack. While he doesn’t take shots on often when he does they look impressive. This was shown when he scored the equalising goal against Internazionale in the Champions League.
He just needs to integrate himself into the side. He needs to get in Messi’s good-books since that seems to be the limiting factor deciding whether or not attackers will succeed at Barca. He’s already formed a good chemistry with Philippe Coutinho.
Do you think Barcelona should sell Malcom?
