Defensive Midfielder- Marcos Llorente- 7.5/10

Casemiro has returned to full fitness and was an utilised substitute against Kashima Antlers for Real Madrid. However, Santiago Solari opted with going in favour of Marcos Llorente to start ahead to the defensive line after some great displays. The 23-year-old capitalized on his previous outings with yet another formidable match at Abu Dhabi. Llorente will be integral for Los Blancos if he starts the final, but unfortunately for him, Casemiro may get the nod for it. Anyway, Llorente could play often in the Copa del Rey if Madrid do well.

Left Midfielder- Toni Kroos- 8/10

Toni Kroos came into the Club World Cup with an eye on a fifth title to his name having won it thrice with Real Madrid before and once with Bayern Munich. The midfielder proved his hunger to go home with a gold medal with a solid performance against Kashima Antlers. Kroos completed 93% of his passes and caused all kinds of problems for the opponents from the left hand side along with Marcelo and Gareth Bale. He had a shot heading to the top corner that was saved very well by the Kashima goalie.

Right Midfielder- Luka Modric- 8.5/10

The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner shined bright with another beautiful display to his name. Modric’s candidacy and win at the award ceremony was questioned by most rival fans, but he is justifying France Football’s choice and putting in good performances. The Kashima Antlers match was another one of Luka’s trademark performances in which he proved a handful for the opponents with his work on the ball. Modric played some superb through balls throughout the match.
