2. Young talent at Tottenham

Any Manchester United fan who believes Tottenham will permit players like Harry Kane and Dele Alli to follow Pochettino to the club are fooling themselves. If Pochettino does make the move to United, Daniel Levy will make absolutely sure none of his players are permitted to follow in his footsteps.

The simple truth is Tottenham have more young talent that United do at the moment. The aforementioned Kane and Dele both have a chance to develop into world-class stars. Kane already enjoys that moniker in the opinion of many pundits and coaches.

It wouldn’t be easy for Pochettino to give up on such prodigious young talents. Yes, he’d be given the budget to buy quality players at United, but players with that kind of quality aren’t sold very often. Good fortune has been on Spurs’ side when it comes to both attackers.

It’s not just Kane and Alli. Youngsters like Juan Foyth and Harry Winks also have a real chance to blossom into stars under Pochettino’s tutelage. He’s not going to give up on any of his starlets without considering it very carefully.

In the end, the presence of Kane and Dele could be the difference between Pochettino moving and staying put for the long haul.
