Since being appointed as the manager by Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri has kept his options narrow in the roster and several players are unhappy with their minutes.

Chelsea winger and makeshift wing-back Victor Moses’ playing time has been severely regulated since Maurizio Sarri took over in west London. Under Antonio Conte’s setup of a three man back line, Victor Moses could play as the right wing-back, but Maurizio Sarri’s appointment has seen the Blues revert to playing four at the back thereby forcing Victor Moses to be sparsely involved in the matches.

Due to a result of warming the bench consistently, Victor Moses could be headed out of Chelsea, if claims made by FOX Sports are true. The former Wigan Athletic player and Nigeria international could be headed to Crystal Palace in the south of England on a loan transfer as he seeks to gain more minutes under his belt.

More from Chelsea FC

The 28-year-old was extremely vital to the Crystal Palace academy before moving out of it and heading to Wigan Athletic. After making a mark in the Premier League with the minnows, Moses got opportunities at Liverpool and Chelsea. He played a massive role when the Blues lifted the Premier League title in the 2016/17 season when Antonio Conte would be sitting in the dugout.

A loan move to Crystal Palace is definitely a great deal for Chelsea and in particular, the Nigerian international who will get some minutes under his belt. It will be a new opportunity for Moses who could play a big part in Roy Hodgson’s setup at the Selhurt Park. There is a high chance that this deal could go through.

While the negotiations are on, Chelsea must not add an option to buy the player in Crystal Palace’s loan deal. The Blues may be able to call upon Victor Moses’ services in the 2019/20 season if Eden Hazard leaves the club. He has played as the left winger prior to this and does well on that flank with the Nigerian national team. If Chelsea can benefit from him going to south London, then nothing like it.
