LB: Alex Sandro 8/10

Alex Sandro has been at his absolute best recently and it showed yet again on Saturday as he dominated Roma on both ends of the pitch. He had two shots on target in the match, the first which would’ve given Sandro his first goal of the season if it weren’t for an incredible save from Robin Olsen. He also added 3 tackles and 2 interceptions in the match as Juve kept yet another clean sheet.

CB: Giorgio Chiellini 7.5/10

Giorgio Chiellini was robbed in this match. He didn’t foul Olsen on his goal, Olsen just horribly misplayed the ball. Other than that it was a pretty slow day for Chiellini. He put Juve in danger with a bad pass for the second consecutive match, but once again nothing came of it. He contributed 3 interceptions and 5 clearances in the match, but overall it wasn’t Chiellini’s best match of the year. He’ll still just be happy that Juve kept another clean sheet and claimed 3 more points.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 7/10

This was another good day for Leonardo Bonucci. He helped to fend off Roma’s attack after Chiellini’s giveaway. He also didn’t make any mistakes of his own. His 2 interceptions and 4 clearances weren’t anything special, but it got the job done. Bonucci has been playing better recently and it should help him fend of Medhi Benatia for now.

RB: Mattia De Sciglio 8/10

Juve finally found the offensive contribution they were missing without Joao Cancelo. Mattia De Sciglio didn’t do much in the attacking half, but his cross to Mario Mandzukic was the difference maker in this match. He also made a couple of tackles and an interception in the match. This match should give Juve fans hope that the right side of the field is in good hands even when Joao Cancelo is unavailable. This type of performance is why Juve brought De Sciglio in last year.
