CM: Miralem Pjanic 7/10

This was yet another day for Pjanic where he sent in some good balls, but just can’t seem to play the one that makes the difference. His corner kick delivery in the second half nearly led to a goal for Juventus, but Olsen was once again able to repel the Juve attack. Outside of that moment it wasn’t a great day for Pjanic, but seeing him deliver corners like that one should give Juve fans hope that the old Pjanic is still in there somewhere.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur 7.5/10

Rodrigo Bentancur played as big of a part as anybody in Juve’s goal. It was his pressure on Santon and his tackle that created the opportunity for Juventus to score. He didn’t have any other big moment on the attacking end, but he was a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end. He made an incredible 8 tackles during the match, doubling the total of the player with the next most. Bentancur has contributed all over the field for Juve this year and this match showed once again just how valuable he can be to this squad for years to come.

CM: Blaise Matuidi 6.5/10

Blaise Matuidi didn’t have a great match against Roma, but that wasn’t really his fault. He managed to make 3 tackles in the match, but was overshadowed by the tremendous defensive effort of Rodrigo Bentancur. I’m sure Matuidi wasn’t upset to have somebody lightening his load for the day, but it made Matuidi mostly a redundancy in the midfield on Saturday.
