Barcelona: Luis Suarez’s locum could be located at Manchester United
Barcelona are looking to replace the ageing Luis Suarez and could find the Uruguay international’s fill-in situated at Manchester United…
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is one of the hottest properties across world football, which could be up for grabs very soon. In spite of sensational performances at the Old Trafford over the last two years, the England international is not sure whether he will be staying with United or move on.
The 21-year-old’s growth has been hindered by Jose Mourinho who would prefer a defensive setup and left Rashford out of the team. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now the caretaker manager and got off to a flying start to his reign at United with a 5-1 win at Cardiff in which Rashford scored once.

Despite his form, there seems no guarantee about Rashford getting regular playing time, especially with players like Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku at the manager’s disposal. In addition to those, Manchester United could sign a few more players over the next two transfer windows.
Rashford’s situation has already been noted by Real Madrid and AC Milan, but Barcelona are new entrants and are determined to hijack the English forward from the Italian giants and their arch rivals. With that said, the striker’s age provides for Barcelona’s requirement of a Luis Suarez replacement and that is a big plus for the Catalans.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are not expected to open their check books in January but AC Milan under the ownership of the Americans Elliott Management could do so. But Rashford’s departure from Manchester United in the coming weeks seems very uncertain given that United could still satisfy some of their objectives.
In conclusion, Real Madrid or Barcelona will be stunning destinations for Rashford, but I’m not too sure whether AC Milan could see him grow in his career. The England international will not come cheap, but all three clubs will be aware of that. Rashford could potentially score 20-25 goals if he gets the service of the creative players in these clubs.
