Real Madrid and Barcelona have been put on high alert as Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell one of their star men in the upcoming summer due to FFP guidelines.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been put on high alert after Paris Saint-Germain are willing to let go of one of their star men in Kylian Mbappe or Neymar. In 2017, the French champions spent a reported transfer fee of 200 million euros on their transfers, but that is coming to bite them back with UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations coming into play.
Mirror understands that the Parisians will now be asked to raise 170 million euros to show a balance in their book of accounts and that will only come if one of the aforementioned names is offloaded. That comes in light of UEFA re-opening a case against Paris Saint-Germain of 2014 when there were similar allegations against them.

Paris Saint-Germain have now been accused of landing in sponsors from Qatar which exceed the market value and as a result, they could even face a Champions League ban if they fail to show legitimate accounting from the past years. However, they don’t agree with the decision and have already appealed to the Court of Arbitration in Sports- the CAS.
Neymar has been linked with an astonishing return to Barcelona while Real Madrid are interested in landing him at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium as a replacement to Cristiano Ronaldo as well. On the other hand, the 13-time European champions have also been thinking of bringing the lethal Kylian Mbappe since CR7 departed.
Los Blancos are expected to spend a hefty amount of cash in the next summer in order to replace Cristiano Ronaldo and overhaul their squad after a tumultuous first half of the season after the Portugal international left. Neymar is a prime target for them because of his experience, however, Mbappe has been eyed over the last few months as well.
Logically enough, Paris Saint-Germain prefer to keep Mbappe because of his dangerous goal-scoring ability and age. Plus, the fact that he has won the FIFA World Cup at just 19 is another factor which will definitely tilt their priorities in his favour. With that said, it will be exciting to see how Real Madrid and Barcelona react if PSG are slapped with any sanction.
