Real Madrid are keen on bringing in Eden Hazard into the squad next summer, but Chelsea are not going to be convinced with just cash and one player…
Several discussions are going on at Real Madrid right now, and the primary one of those is their bid to make a few signings after a decision of not replacing Cristiano Ronaldo has backfired miserably. The Whites have been linked with several players of late, but it looks like Eden Hazard’s signing will be sealed in the next summer.
Real Madrid is a destination that Eden Hazard has been admiring since childhood, with and without Zidane as the boss. The Belgium international has publicly spoken of his desire of playing in the Spanish capital more than once and as a result of impressing the bosses at Real Madrid, Hazard is also enduring a magical season- his best till date.

The 27-year-old is expected to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, and reports have claimed that Real Madrid will give two players to Chelsea in order to reciprocate Hazard’s interest of shifting clubs. Those two players who will probably be heading to west London are Isco and Mateo Kovacic.
While the Spain international Isco has fallen down the pecking order since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui, former Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic is already at Chelsea, but serving a loan stint. The latter is happy in the Premier League and could possibly make his move to England permanent at the end of this season irrespective of Hazard’s future.
That being said, it looks very unlikely that Los Merengues will be ready to lose two players who are yet to touch their highly patented primes for somebody who will have less than a year left on his contract. In addition to that, Isco and Kovacic have been tipped to form Real Madrid’s core after a few years.
Thirdly, even Florentino Perez would be aware that letting go of two players who are easily worth over 75 million euros each without getting any money from Chelsea in return makes no sense and will lead to mass losses in the books of Real Madrid. As a result, such a deal seems extremely unlikely to go through, but there could be a change if the Blues pay.
Isco has been highly regarded by every Real Madrid manager before Santiago Solari and there’s a chance that anybody who comes after the current boss will admire the playmaker as well. On the other hand, Kovacic is seen as a like-for-like successor to Luka Modric and hence, Madrid will definitely add buyback clauses in the deals for both superstars.
