Defender- Nelson Semedo- Not Available

Nelson Semedo came into the match for the final seven minutes plus stoppage time in place of Sergi Roberto. There was nothing much for the right back to do as the match was already done and dusted. Semedo’s substitution late on could have been a signal of rest for Roberto from Valverde and the Spaniard could start the Copa del Rey match.

More from FC Barcelona

Midfielder- Arturo Vidal- 6/10

Arturo Vidal replaced Sergio Busquets a few minutes post the hour mark and did a decent job at defensive midfield. The former Bayern Munich star is no guest to playing in an impeded midfielder’s role. The match was already over by the time Vidal was introduced to the scene and hence, he had no major thing to do except clear the ball away.

Forward- Ousmane Dembele- 6.5/10

It was a 20 minute run on the field for France international Ousmane Dembele against Eibar. The former Borussia Dortmund attacker had not much work to do throughout the evening. As a matter of fact, he was probably rested with the Levante fixture coming up in the Copa del Rey. He will be in the starting eleven for that game.

Manager- Ernesto Valverde- 7/10

Ernesto Valverde does not deserve much credit for Barcelona’s pretty much routine win, but his starting eleven was good. Starting Philippe Coutinho was a great call as it helped the team. Also, he rested Sergio Busquets and Ousmane Dembele for lengthy durations so that they stay fit for the midweek fixture. His side looks well poised for another league title.
