Aaron Ramsey has endured many successful seasons with Arsenal but he will leave at some point this season. Juventus wish to make that as soon as January.
Arsenal is going through a tough spell currently. They are falling further and further adrift of the top four and their upcoming run of fixtures doesn’t help at all. That said, the Aaron Ramsey situation has flown slightly under the radar but it’s important that the Gunners address it.
According to reports from The Mirror, Juventus wish to sign Ramsey in January as opposed to in the summer. This would mean that they need to cough up some money since he is still under contract at Arsenal.

Obviously, even a small amount of money is better than no money at all. This is one of the factors why some wish Arsenal would sell. However, here’s a question. What’s more important, ending the season with one of your best players or a measly £20m?
Unai Emery needs Ramsey more than ever right now. Arsenal can still battle for the Champions League spot, they just need to get back on track in terms of form. Ramsey will be pivotal to this change.
The Gunners host Chelsea this weekend, in perhaps their biggest game of the season. Six points separate the London sides but it could easily switch to just three if Arsenal bounces back this weekend. It would also set them up nicely for their upcoming fixtures. That said, minimal distractions should be invited which would result in Arsenal denying Juventus’ transfer offer.
This is something Unai Emery needs to look into
This isn’t Unai Emery’s mess to clean, obviously. It wasn’t the Spaniard who let Ramsey enter his final year of the contract.
However, this is a consistent problem which Arsenal has faced over the last few seasons, and it needs to be fixed. Unai Emery should stamp his authority on those above him in the Arsenal hierarchy since he has the power to do that.
Do you think Juventus will convince Arsenal to sell Aaron Ramsey this January?
