Midfielder- Dani Ceballos- 7/10
Dani Ceballos needed just 15 minutes to make an impact against his former club as he struck Real Madrid’s winner from a beautifully driven free-kick around a wall of many men. The Spain international did a good job from an overall perspective, but obviously, the standout characteristic of his game was the winning goal which he struck.

Midfielder- Brahim Diaz- Not Available
Brahim Diaz was not too involved in the match as he came on only for the final eight minutes plus stoppage time. The former Manchester City winger made his league debut and would have been happy to get a win in that one as well. There is a high chance of Brahim getting a start against Leganes in the Copa’s second leg fixture.
Forward- Cristo Gonzalez- 6/10
Cristo Gonzalez made his league debut against a difficult Real Betis side. The Real Madrid Castilla striker got the entire second half to prove himself, but his lack of experience did not allow him to do it so well. Cristo ran around with the ball and linked up well with Vinicius Junior, in particular. The youngster did not have many chances to make a mark.
Manager- Santiago Solari- 7/10
Santiago Solari’s approach to the game was commendable due to the depleted side he had, but being so conservative and going for a draw was not done. The 42-year-old needs to know that the demands at Real Madrid are sky-high. Also, not playing Isco, the team’s most press resistant player against a high pressing team was a horrible decision. The boss is certainly not a fan favourite.
