CM: Miralem Pjanic 8/10

We got to see the Miralem Pjanic Juve has been missing in this match. The ball he chipped in to Ronaldo was absolutely perfect and came at a time when Juve was badly struggling to create truly dangerous chances. it was the type of pass that has made him such an important part of Juve’s success over the last couple of years. These kinds of passes have been a rare sight from Pjanic this season, but every time he makes a play like this it should give Juve fans hope that there is more to come.

CM: Blaise Matuidi 6.5/10

This was a pretty slow match for Blaise Matuidi if you only include the parts of the match that actually counted. He had a goal ruled out because he was offside and then assisted another goal that was disallowed because he was offside. Other than that there wasn’t much for Matuidi to do, but with the workload he usually takes on for Juve I’m sure he won’t be upset about having an easy day.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur 7/10

This match wasn’t one of Rodrigo Bentancur’s best f the season, but he put in another solid performance. Juve attacked in large part down the outside of the pitch because of Milan’s compact defense, which left Bentancur uninvolved in a lot of the buildup. When he was involved he passed accurately and helped out a bit on the defensive end. More will be asked of Bentancur in the coming months, but he just didn’t really fit into the flow of this match.
