Real Madrid have ended up spending a lot of futile money on Bale’s medical expenses and his wages are not being reciprocated either.
Gareth Bale started off life at Real Madrid in a bright way after checking in from Tottenham back in 2013. His second season was full of ups and downs while his third one was a fairly good one. After that, Bale’s injury problems mounted up tremendously and Real Madrid’s wage and medical expenses rose medically for a player who would not even end up playing half of the season’s matches.

The Wales international had been the man tipped to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo at the Spanish capital, but things have gone miserably wrong for him. He is not even in the top five Real Madrid players this season, let alone being someone who could fill in the boots of the club’s all-time top goal scorers. Even the younger and fringe players like Lucas Vazquez have been better than Bale and Florentino Perez has realistic plans of getting rid of the Welsh.
The Premier League is the prospective destination for Gareth Bale to be in during the next season and the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been keeping an eye on the 29-year-old. However, it looks like he will be heading back to north London in highest probabilities and Florentino Perez is looking for a player plus cash deal to let go of the right winger.
The Real Madrid President plans on hiring Christian Eriksen’s services in the upcoming summer and wants the Dane to replace Luka Modric. The fact that the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder’s contract expires in June 2020 makes Perez believe that he can dodge Tottenham’s hefty price tag on Eriksen and get him for a cheaper rate. In fact, he has valued Bale at 120 million euros already, Don Balon reports.
Daniel Levy is a notorious businessman but Florentino Perez is no novice either. The 71-year-old wants Christian Eriksen and 30 million euros in order to release Gareth Bale from his duty at the Santiago Bernabeu and allow him to negotiate terms with his ex-club. With Christian Eriksen leading to a loss of sleep for the Tottenham hierarchy, there is a realistic chance that this deal might go through in the summer.
