Left Winger- Vinicius Junior- 8/10

Vinicius Junior was preferred to the likes of Isco and Federico Valverde yet again, and the young winger showed his attacking flare by repaying Santiago Solari’s faith. Vinicius put in a very confident display, which drew applause and cheer from the Santiago Bernabeu whose public is definitely impressed by the 18-year-old’s skill and talent. While Vinicius’ decision making is great, he still needs to be a little more composed on the ball and not do things in a hurry. Plus, he should not be too fancy either.

Striker- Karim Benzema- 8/10

Karim Benzema has been justifying of late that a striker can add a lot to the team than just goals. The Frenchman showed that once again with a superb display against Sevilla despite not getting his name on the score sheet. Benzema played some lovely through balls during the match for Vazquez and Vinicius. His ability of dropping back and put a defensive as well as creative shift helped Los Merengues keep hold of the ball for longer durations and create more chances in the match than the hosts.

Right Winger- Lucas Vazquez- 7.5/10

Lucas Vazquez returned to La Liga action two weeks after picking up a debatable red card against Real Sociedad. The 27-year-old was enthusiastic as always and his work rate throughout the match was utterly superb. Vazquez was slightly off balance throughout the match and was not looking on song, especially in the second half. Knowing how good he is, it is certainly not going to be repetitive from Lucas, but this was not his best display but certainly one above average.
